  • AJ Ouellette
    • President | Excutive Director | Sports Performance Coach
      • AJ graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Specialized Studies, combining Exercise Physiology, Sport Management, and Health, and is currently completing his Master’s in Coaching Education. His academic background, combined with his professional athletic experience, has shaped his passion for developing athletes and building systems that support long-term growth. AJ is currently a professional football player for the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and has signed with three professional organizations throughout his career, including the New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns, and Toronto Argonauts. Since 2019, AJ has worked as a Sports Performance Coach, helping athletes improve not only their physical performance, but also their confidence, discipline, and mindset. In 2020, he founded No Name Athletics to create a training environment that develops athletes the right way — through intentional coaching, long-term growth, and strong values. AJ started Make a Name Foundation because he saw the need for something bigger than sports alone. His vision is to create a system that helps young people grow in every area of life by combining education, athletics, personal development, and mentorship into one powerful environment. His long-term goal is to create opportunities that better prepare young people for success both on and off the field while helping them become confident, capable leaders in their communities.
  • Brandon Wirrig
    • Board Member | Athletic Director | Sports Performance Coach
      • Brandon Wirrig is a Board Member of Make a Name Foundation, serving as the Athletic Director and a Sports Performance Coach dedicated to developing athletes in all areas of life. Brandon graduated from Bradford High School in 2013 before continuing his education at Bowling Green State University, where he earned a degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Food Science and Nutrition. Brandon specializes in speed training and strength and conditioning, helping athletes improve performance through: • Sprint mechanics • Agility and change of direction • Strength and power development • Olympic lifting and weightlifting techniqueIn addition to his role with Make a Name Foundation, Brandon is currently working as a track coach and plays a key role at No Name Athletics, where he helps athletes build not only physical ability, but also discipline, confidence, and long-term development habits. Brandon’s approach focuses on developing the complete athlete — emphasizing consistency, effort, and growth both on and off the field.
  • Alex Trotter
    • Board Member | Finance Director | Sports Performance Coach
      • Alex Trotter is a Board Member of Make a Name Foundation, where he serves as the organization’s Chief Financial Officer and a Sports Performance Coach. He also plays a key role in the athletic development side of the foundation as the Powerlifting Coach for Make a Name’s strength sports programming. Alex graduated from Tippecanoe High School in 2010 before attending University of Toledo, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration. During his time at Toledo, he was introduced to the sport of powerlifting, which quickly became a major focus in both his personal and professional life. Since then, Alex has continued to train and compete in powerlifting while studying under some of the most respected coaches in the sport, including the late Louie Simmons and Laura Phelps. Alex specializes in helping athletes build both physical strength and mental toughness. His coaching focuses on proper strength development, confidence, discipline, and teaching athletes how to carry themselves with purpose both in and out of training. He holds certifications in: Westside Special Strengths, Westside Athletic Coaching, Westside Conjugate Method. In addition to his role within Make a Name Foundation, Alex is also a hired Sports Performance Coach at No Name Athletics, where he works with athletes to improve performance, resilience, and long-term development

    • Board Member | Principle | Head of Education Committee
      • Courtney Downs serves as a Board Member of Make a Name Foundation, where she leads the organization’s educational vision as Principal and Head of the Education Committee. With a strong foundation in education and leadership, Courtney is responsible for building and overseeing the academic structure of the foundation. She focuses on creating a disciplined, growth-oriented learning environment that supports both academic success and personal development. Courtney plays a critical role in designing programs that integrate education, athletics, and mentorship, ensuring that students are developed not only as learners, but as confident and capable individuals prepared for life beyond the classroom. Her leadership helps drive the foundation’s mission to provide a more intentional and effective approach to youth development, with an emphasis on accountability, structure, and long-term growth.
